🔥 #AdminProTip 🔥
A client recently asked me:
"Hey Avital, are coffee capsules considered a business expense?"
Yes! I replied. It certainly is!
There are so many little business expenses that people simply aren't aware of, and knowing about them can make a huge difference when it comes to taxes!
Did you know that these are also considered business expenses?
Here are some examples:
🛒 Coffee and coffee capsules, tea, sugar, honey, and other sweeteners ☕ Yes, your daily fuel is tax-deductible!
🛒 Milk and milk supplements, a boiler pot, a water cooler & heater 🥛
Basically, anything you'd typically use in a regular office is a business expense.
🛒 Sweet drinks, cookies, snacks, and even the cups/plates/silverware to enjoy them 🍪(Especially if you have meetings in your home office occasionally.)
🛒 Cleaning supplies 🧹 🧴 🧻
Things such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, napkins, dishwashing liquid, and sponges
All those little things that keep your office clean and tidy? Yes, they count too!
🛒 Bank and credit card fees 💳
Don't forget to include those statements in your expenses—those amounts add up!
🛒 Office furniture
Bought a new chair, closet, or desk? Yep, those things count. And guess what? Even decorative plants are tax-deductible!
It’s amazing how many everyday items can actually be considered business expenses. These little things can really add up and save you money in the long run!
Did you know these expenses count?
